This
is a Revell Ford Mustang.
Essentially
it's the Hertz 350H version on the box, but I just built
it as a semi-stock Mustang. Monogram-Revell made many versions
of this same kit, and I've built many of them. They are
all basically the same, except for the R-version GT350 Mustang,
which cannot be built stock, as it's loaded with special
racing parts.
The
red is hardware paint, with Testors clear. The interior
is primer white, with some tamiya white in spots to add
some texture and interest.
The
rest is stock out of the box.
Because
this is a well molded kit, it's one that's enjoyable to
build over and over, in many different ways.
The
engine is a 289 V8. Being a Shelby version, a Monte Carlo
bar is included. If I remember right, the kit can be a 1965
model (with rear side glasswindows) or as a 1966 car with
the louvers, as shown here.
