This is a Revell C7R Corvette
model.
Most
of the time when you see this kit built, it looks like the
box cover - yellow. I wanted to do something different.
So
I made it more of a "street version".
I
painted it a Tamiya Blue color, with dark grey metallic
rims. I kept some flat black highlights here and there.
Along with some metallic colors.
The
interior was painted a flat Tamiya blue color, with a few
detail painted parts inside, and black highlights. The roll
cage is painted chrome.
This
kit was well engineered, and the parts fit well. In most
cases, with great location pins and holes, you almost couldn't
make a mistake even if you wanted to.
My
kit has a slightly warped chassis pan or body, so those
two didn't quites fit as tight as I would have liked. But
it's not really noticible unless you pick up the model.
Once
the parts are painted you could almost build it in a day.
