The
custom Pink Panther Show car.
For
awhile in the 1970's, when the Pink Panther cartoon was
on saturday mornings, the Panther would show up at the beginning
of the show in this car. It would stop and the cartoon Pink
Panther would step out.
The
car is FWD. I believe it is build on an Olds Toronado chassis.
The front seat was driven by a chaffeur.
Eldon,
a Japanese company, later issued this kit, I think in the
late 1980's, and this is one of those examples.
It's
painted with a pink automotive paint and clear (probably
PPG), with fuzzy felt on the interior.
Overall
it's a cool car and model kit.
