Tom Daniel Street Fighter
/ Bad News Chevy Panel Wagon
This
kit is somewhat basic, but a fun build. This version is
molded in a bright orange. The older version was called
Bad News, and molded in silver. With this reissue, the decals
still have the older Bad News names, so you could build
that version if you like. (note the box art even shows the
Bad News decals used).
The
front end is a tilt nose. It's a bit finicky at times, so
have some patience there.
This
version of the kit has clear red glass parts.
On
the underside is a round hole, where the spare tire is molded
into the upper side of the interior bed. I chose to cut
a piece of sheet plastic and cover that hole. I used cardboard
to mock it up first before cuting the part out of plastic.
I
painted my model with House of Kolor dark metallic red.
(which has a silver base, and Testors Gloss on top of it).
Overall
it's a good build, just be aware of the tilt front end which
can cause an issue, depending on your modeling skill.
