This
is a resin kit of the Green Hornet's Black Beauty from the
TV series.
I
believe it is 1:24 scale. Unless it was patterned off of
a Johan Chrysler 300, like the real car was in the TV show,
it may be 1:25.
In
the TV show when you watch the cars rotate in the garage,
from the stock Chrysler to the Black Beauty, those are Johan
model cars.
This
was produced by the now out of business resin company, T&T
Productions. It's a curbside, as the hood doesn't open.
The resin is a bit thick in places, but it's somewhat accurate
and much better than trying to scratch build one by hand.
The
kit came with the 2 figures, the Green Hornet and Kato.
It included everything, no donor models or other parts were
needed to build it.
It's
painted Testors Gloss Black over a black primer base. The
roof is flat black. The windshields are vacuum formed clear
plastic. The wheels are white metal.
I
replicated the rear tag with rub on letters.
The
kit included the interior, rear seat, and the special console
and phone.
Overall,
it's a cool model kit to have.
