This
kit is 1/16 scale and made of resin parts. It's made by
Verlinden.
It
consists of about 10 pieces. The base is included, but is
made from a softer material, almost like some kind of plaster.
I
first trimed the resin parts, sanded anything that needed
extra care, and then washed the parts in case there was
any mold release chemicals on them.
I
painted the main figure with a Vallejo Air orange. The figure
was primered in white but it still took two thin coats to
get the color tone and coverage I wanted.
The
base was shot with brown primer. I then used various black,
grey, and brown Vallejo colors to weather and detail it.
Including some dark washed and chalk dust, along with some
bright Vallejo green for the chemical hazmat bio agent.
I
added the skulls (I bought a bag of these off amazon for
a few dollars), the rear "Welcome to L.A." sign
and fence, along with the modifying both hands to carry
the two skulls and rifle.
I
hand painted the various other parts of the figure that
were not orange.
I
made some Bio Hazard decals for the upper arms on the hazmat
suit.
Overall
I had fun with this figure. All the parts fit perfectly
with no issues. I chose to do it differently than their
box image but then I like to use my imagination.
