Revell's
Star Wars First Order TIE Fighter Model Kit

Huge
1/35 TIE Fighter
At
1/35 scale, this is one of the largest Star
Wars model kits. It resembles your typical TIE (Twin
Ion Engine) as seen in the movies, but this one has the
red ensignia to represent the First Order, and has the two
seat arrangement.
The
model is an Easy Kit as it's designed to be snapped together.
The model itself is molded in black, a light grey, with
a few clear parts.
It's
"prepainted" in areas around the parts. So paint
is not really needed, but I think most Sar Wars modelers
will quickly repaint the model and detail it out.
The
cockpit has a fair amount of details on the inside, with
well defined seats. Unfortunately, no pilot or weapons officer
figures are included.
The
parts count is low, but because of it's large size, it can
be built into a fantastic model. You can pose it on it's
engines docked, or in flight with the included stand.
|

The
engines panels, when upright, are 9 inches tall.
The left panel is the outside portion, while the right side is
the spline. There are two of each of these parts in the kit of
course, to do both "engines".

The
main body and the oposite twin seats.
Note
the clear cockpit window which has already been
masked and pre-painted in the kit.

A
few more parts, along with the display stand.
.

The printed directions are simple, and in color.
