If you ever wanted one of the Sealab III
model kits originally produced by Aurora, then you know
they cost a small fortune, if you can even find one.
But if you ever wanted one, but just couldn't mortgage the
house to get the kit, now's your chance to get one for much

that make the kit needed work and repairs, thus, Atlantis
attempted to raise the funds to have that done. But without
enough funds (interest) in the kit from modelers, Atlantis
was unable to release the kit.

and it was up to modelers to preorder the model with their
wallets, which they decided not to do. So it's not the fault
of Atlantis models.
