Chevy Pepper Shaker Model Kit
has issued one of their 1957 Chevy kits. This one with the
Pepper Shaker box art. You can't miiss the great illustraion
on the box.
kit seems to be an older tool, but it's still full of goodies.
The chassis is almost one piece with molded in dual exhaust,
but the engraving is well done. There's almost no flash
on the entire kit overall. The chassis does have separate
front and rear suspension parts.
body is crisp, with a few mold lines that need attention,
but they don't stand out much except in a few tight areas
V8 engines are included. A 283 small block and a 409 big
block. The 409 has a bunch of performance parts including
a blower. There's an engine stand to display the engine
you don't end up use.
model interior includes a front bench seat with an alternative
choice of racing high bucket seats. A simple roll bar is
parts are everywhere and give you many options. Some custom
parts are on the sprue trees for those who want to totally
customize the car.
some reason I thought this model could be a gasser, but
it does not include a front straight axle. But it still
looks to be a cool kit to build.

get a wide white wall tire set, and a pair of
pad-printed slicks for the rear.

there are a lot of chrome parts, including a chrome suspension
front and rear. As well as two sets of wheels.
that are a Cragar type, and two chrome steel wheels (for the drag
racing slicks). Four stock hubcaps are there too.
